It includes representatives of providers, like doctors, nurses and hospitals; public health organizations; health insurers; professional schools; health care associations; employers; and legislators.

The Advisory Council works with the Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform to develop a plan that balances the needs of a diverse group of individuals and industries. The Advisory Council will help spread the word when PHIX is up and running to educate patients, providers and everyone in-between so Pennsylvanians receive the full benefits from this revolutionary system.
